What data this website collects

Most of this website collects nothing. There are no contact forms on the main site and no account registrations.

The Customer Operations Health Check is the exception. It collects personal data directly, and how that works is set out below.

Customer Operations Health Check

The Customer Operations Health Check is hosted on this website. If you complete it, the following is collected:

This is used to send you your results and to follow up on them. Your results are emailed to you because you asked for them by completing the health check. Any further contact about my services is sent in line with the lawful basis set out below.

The lawful basis for processing is your consent where you have ticked the box. Where you have not ticked it, and you completed the health check in the course of your work for a company, I may contact you about your results on the basis of my legitimate interest in following up a business enquiry. Every email I send includes a way to stop hearing from me. Nothing is shared with third parties, and nothing is sold.

You can withdraw consent at any time by replying to any email or writing to stevenjashwood@gmail.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything sent before you withdrew it.

Your submission is emailed to me and processed in transit by Resend, an email delivery service. Resend may transfer data to servers in the United States under the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Their privacy policy is at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Health check data is retained for no longer than 24 months from your last contact with me, after which it is deleted. You can request deletion sooner at any time by emailing stevenjashwood@gmail.com.

When you book a diagnostic call via the booking link on this site, you are directed to Calendly's platform. Calendly collects your name, email address, and any information you provide when booking. This data is held and processed by Calendly in accordance with their own privacy policy, available at calendly.com/privacy.

LinkedIn
This site links to a LinkedIn profile. If you visit LinkedIn via this link, LinkedIn's own privacy policy applies. LinkedIn may use cookies and tracking in accordance with their policy, available at linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Business enquiries

If you contact Steve Ashwood directly by email, your contact details will be used solely to respond to your enquiry. They will not be shared with third parties or used for marketing without your explicit consent.

Complaints

If you think I have handled your personal data incorrectly, tell me first. Email stevenjashwood@gmail.com with the word "complaint" in the subject line. I will acknowledge it within 30 days and respond with what I have done about it.

If you are not satisfied with my response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. You do not have to come to me first, but it usually resolves things faster.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated if the website adds new functionality that affects data collection. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
